Kajol wears a saree with a twist and we feel helpless

Saree, the most beautiful clothing piece created on planet earth is of late undergoing a lot of change. There is a sudden storm in Bollywood where stylists are going crazy and trying to create another version of sarees. While at times we do agree that giving the six yard drape a modern twist is essential, but that’s not always necessary. Roger that!

And so recently actress Kajol wore a rust coloured printed saree at Lokmat Awards held last night, but wait that’s not it as the saree had a horrendous twist. Styled by Mohit Rai, Kajol’s saree was clubbed/layered with a golden coloured long cape and a tacky golden belt. Moreover, she added those two golden elements making her saree saga worse. And now talking about her hairstyle, the pulled back sleek wet hair looks nothing great on her.

Style score: 1/5 *may be 1 point for the stardom she enjoys, all in good humour*

Verdict…
Frankly if we could, we would have just dialled 100 and called the fashion police ASAP. As in the name of twist and modern angles, a brilliant actress like you Kajol cannot look like a walking fashion blunder. From your saree, golden cape to those little but non-impressive golden jewellery, Kajol you have failed to impress. Hope to see you soon with a better style sense.
