Deepika Padukone receives a handwritten note from Hema Malini. Here’s why

Handwritten letters are always special and more so when you receive one from someone you idolise. Something similar happened with actress Deepika Padukone. She received a handwritten note from none other than ‘dream girl’ Hema Malini. The contents of the note read as:

‘Dear Deepika, The contents of the book that you so graciously launched take on an added meaning as I hand over the baton to you for a glorious continuation of artistic excellence. Love, Hema Malini.”

Such blissful words by the dream girl herself. Deepika couldn’t contain her happiness and shared the note on her Instagram. Have a look:

This clearly indicates that Hema Malini is very fond of Deepika and is happy to hand over the baton to the young actress. Now for those of you unaware, in October, Deepika Padukone launched Hema Malini’s biography. The biography named ‘Hema Malini: Beyond The Dream Girl’ written by journalist Ram Kamal Mukherjee was launched at a suburban Mumbai hotel. It was a star-studded evening with almost 50 celebs in attendance. The foreword of the book is penned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The book traces the rise of a true star. Published by Harper Collins, the book will be available in stores as well as online. Well, this is how the story unfolded and Deepika is such a pleasant personality that we don’t blame Hema Malini for growing so fond of her.
