‘Padman’: Akshay and Sonam strike a pose as they shoot in New York

Actors Akshay Kumar and Sonam Kapoor have been shooting for the last leg of ‘Padman’ in New York. A fan page of Sonam Kapoor shared some pictures on social media in which we see Akshay and Sonam smiling and striking a pose and they are also joined by their director R. Balki. Akshay looked quite handsome in a grey hoodie and brown pants, while Sonam looked damn cute in baby pink jacket which she wore on a maroon dress with spectacles and hair tied in a bun.

As far as the movie is concerned, it is slated to release during Republic Day next year and will be clashing with Rajinikanth-starrer ‘2.0’. Also, it will face competition from ‘Aiyaary’ which stars Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee. The movie also stars Radhika Apte in a pivotal role however, we haven’t really come across any picture of the actress shooting in New York as yet. In the movie, Akshay Kumar plays the role of Arunachalam Muruganantham (the man behind low-cost sanitary napkins for women in rural areas).
