Did Ranveer Singh just compare his Khilji act with these great Hollywood villains?

Ranveer Singh will be seen playing a negative role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’. The actor portrays the character of Sultan Alauddin Khilji who had attacked Chittor to capture Rani Padmavati.

Well, the posters of the film had clearly given us the hint that Ranveer’s character will be menacing, and the actor’s recent tweet makes us wonder if he has compared his role with legendary Hollywood villains like Joker (‘The Dark Knight’) and Alex (‘A Clockwork Orange’).

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, ‘Padmavati’ is slated to release on December 1, 2017. It has Deepika Padukone playing the titular role and Shahid Kapoor will be seen playing the role of Maharawal Ratan Singh.

The film has been facing a lot of protests in various states. Karni Sena have been threatening the makers and want a ban on the film. They had also stated that they would chop off Deepika’s nose because of which reportedly the actress’ security has been beefed up.
