Actor Sachiin Joshi buys Vijay Mallya’s Kingfisher Villa

After liquor baron and businessman Vijay Mallya secretly left the country keeping crores of tax and loan pending, he was officially declared an ‘absconder’. Mallya had ignored a number of summons by ED and also a number of non-bailable warrants. As part of seizing all his properties in India and abroad, his luxurious Goa Bungalow was put up in auction.

Several auctions couldn’t find any buyer. Now the bankers are reported to have sold it to Bollywood actor Sachiin Joshi. SBI chairman Arundhati Bhattacharya confirmed the transaction to a leading daily, but denied to reveal the amount.

The actor, who acted in films like ‘Azaan’, ‘Mumbai Mirror’ and more and was also seen in a T-series music video, is the owner of Viking Media and Entertainment Pvt Ltd. His business interest spans from fitness and health to liquor.
