Alia Bhatt is among those few young actresses who have achieved stardom with back-to-back fabulous roles in movies. In the wake of Kangana Ranaut’s recent nepotism comment on Karan Johar, many celebs voiced their opinions on nepotism in Bollywood. On Alia’s 24th birthday, she too was asked about her take on nepotism to which she replied, “We are talking too much about it. We need to stop.” Her reply will make people ponder over her bonding with teacher-friend Karan Johar and her belonging to a star family. She may have had an easy beginning in B-Town, but she has sustained so far purely on her talent and strong performances.
Elaborating on her five year journey in Bollywood, she said, “I think the more years you spend in the industry, the more you get experience. I don’t know how I have changed as an actor, but yes, I have learnt a lot of the technical things. I am growing up in the public eye, so there will be changes. But it’s not like I really sat down and noticed things that have changed. I think I have become more responsible now because now I also live by myself. I am satisfied with my work and not anything else.”
On the work front, Alia’s recently released flick ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ is doing good at the box office. She has ‘Dragon’ with Ranbir Kapoor in her kitty.
Passionate about writing, and a Bollywood lover, she is all that is sweet and endearing! She desires to put her best foot forward in everything that she does and loves to help anyone who’s in need.
