EXCLUSIVE: Kriti Sanon turns down Salman Khan’s offer!

To work alongside any Khan in the industry is every newcomer’s dream in Bollywood. Who would then turn down an offer from a Khan himself?

Well here is a starlet who has dared to do so! Salman Khan has been wanting to work with Kriti Sanon for some time now. Sajid Nadiadwala, who launched Kriti in showbiz three years ago, has also been referring her to several of his close industry buddies, including Salman. It was said that Salman was keen on working with Kriti in ‘Sultan’, but Aditya Chopra wasn’t game for it and hence, YRF’s favourite Anushka Sharma was cast instead. Now, Kriti has been approached for a Salman Khan project.

The project is the one which has been on the backburner for years now. Salman Khan’s production banner is backing it and wants to revive that now. It’s titled ‘Jugalbandi’ and was initially supposed to cast Saif Ali Khan, Anil Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez. Owing to her work commitments (‘Judwaa 2’ and ‘Drive’), Jacqueline Fernandez has opted out and Salman wanted Kriti in her place. But the ‘Dilwale’ heroine has turned the offer down. Our source tells us, “Kriti didn’t like her role in the film. There’s nothing much for the girl to do in the film. It’s a fight between the two male lead characters and Kriti doesn’t want to do just about anything.”
