It hasn’t sunk in yet, Reema Lagoo’s daughter on her mother’s death

Bollywood lost yet another gem when Reema Lagoo breathed her last on May 18, 2017. For decades, she entertained us with her powerful performances and her death has left a void that can never be filled. Her daughter Mrunmayee too is trying to cope up with her loss and while speaking to Spotboye.com, Mrunmayee shared quite a bit of her grief and said that she has lost her best friend.

Mrunmayee said, “It’s too soon to talk about her at length. It hasn’t sunk in yet. It was very shocking. My mother was my best friend. I was not ready. Frankly, I could never have been ready. The void cannot be filled by anybody ever. All I can hope is that her soul is at peace and she has gone to a place where she has a better existence than she had here.”

Indeed, her death has come as shock to all.

Reema Lagoo’s prolific career includes films like ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun, ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and many more. Mostly she essayed the role of a mother in a film and was known for the same. (Also Read: Renuka Shahane pens a heart-touching obituary for Reema Lagoo)
