Rakhi Sawant UNTRACEABLE, Ludhiana police team goes back empty-handed

Yesterday, Rakhi Sawant was ruling the headlines. An arrest-warrant had been issued in her name by a local court in Ludhiana and a team of two police officials were on their way to Mumbai to catch hold of Rakhi. This was in response to the derogatory statements that she made on a television show over Sage Valmiki.

An update on this states that, the two police officers including one woman head constable, had to go back to Ludhiana without Rakhi Sawant as they simply could not trace her. They reached the given address but just to find out that Rakhi never lived there. Occupants of the flat claimed that Rakhi never lived at the given residential address.

Now, the team is back to Ludhiana and will report it to the court. The next hearing on this case is scheduled on April 10, 2017.

In her comments, Rakhi had compared her friend-turned-foe-turned-friend Mika Singh to Sage Valmiki. This hurt the sentiments of Valmiki community and a case was filed against Rakhi Sawant. (Also Read: Post arrest warrant, Rakhi Sawant apologises for her hurtful comments on Sage Valmiki)
