Actor Arshad Warsi has never been in the thick of controversies and has never really spoken up something aggressive on social media or in person. But, his recent comment may give rise to a new controversy as it talks about how giving an opinion could cost you your life. Speaking in an interview with Hindustan Times, the actor said that he is scared to give an opinion on social media. Says Arshad, “Honestly, I don’t know why others are doing it. But I know that even if I tweet that I had chicken biryani for lunch, I’ll be told to stay in Pakistan. That’s the fear. Every time you say something, you get trolled for it so badly. It’s not even worth it. That’s why I stay away, and I’m happy.” (Also Read: Sanjay Dutt visits ‘Golmaal Again’ sets and meets his beloved circuit aka Arshad Warsi)
He further adds, “I’m not the kind of guy who fights. I don’t fight at home. I don’t fight at work, while shooting or otherwise. I just don’t like the idea of fighting. ‘Live and let others live’ is my motto.”
Well, that’s really a nice way to go about things, but not expressing your opinion for the fear of being trolled is not going to help either.
