If sources are to believed then once again singer Arijit Singh has been replaced, but not in a Salman Khan movie (‘Sultan’), this time in ‘A Flying Jatt’. Yes, Pakistani artist Atif Aslam has replaced Arijit Singh for a promotional song in ‘A Flying Jatt’ that features Tiger Shroff and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead roles.
A source revealed, “Sachin-Jigar, who have scored the music for ‘A Flying Jatt’, had initially roped in Arijit for a background song. However, the makers felt that his voice did not do justice to it, and requested for a replacement. The makers liked Atif’s version and have given a thumbs-up to them. The singer has been paid close to Rs 35 lakh for the song, which will be unveiled a fortnight later. He has also sung a promotional track in the film; that will be out tomorrow.”
Although music composer duo Sachin-Jigar denied this and said, “This is a hoax. Arijit Singh hasn’t sung any song for ‘A Flying Jatt’. He is a distinguished singer and we have done quite a few songs together for other films that shall be released soon.”
