Aamir Khan‘s ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ is still under post-production. While the actors of the film, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Fatima Sana Sheikh and Amitabh Bachchan have shot for the adventure action drama, they are now waiting for the editors to work their magic on the film.
This is however not the 80’s and 90’s where people are accepting of a lengthy film,. This is why, Aamir, who knows his game well is also aware that the audience can be scathing to a film that’s nearly three hours long in today’s times.
Apparently, he has expressed major concern and a leading daily has reported the fact too. But we have further details on the same. Says a source from the film team exclusively, “The first cut of the film is almost ready and it’s three and half hours long. The team has shot footage of over four and half hours and they have chopped it by an hour. Aamir is extremely unhappy with the rough cut because he feels it’s too stretched and the whole essence is getting diluted.”

He met the team and gave them strict diktats. “He has clearly told the team to cut the film down to about two hours 15 minutes only. YRF’s head scion Aditya Chopra is also of the same view and director Victor is currently working on putting things in place.”
We wonder what the run-time now comes up to be? Because clearly, a three and a half hours long film is not anyone’s cup of tea these days.
