Aishwarya Rai Bachchan no longer part of ‘Jasmine: Story Of A Leased Womb’?

Drop dead gorgeous actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan enthralled everyone with her appearance in ‘Fanney Khan’. Post the release of this film there were reports that Aishwarya will be seen in ‘Jasmine: Story Of A Leases Womb’. It was confirmed by Aishwarya to DNA that she was in talks with writers Siddharth-Garima for ‘Jasmine’, which was about a surrogate mother. The actress had said, “Our talks had stopped around February this year, but now, I will take the discussion further. Right now, I don’t know whether I’m doing it or not. I liked the concept, but asked them to make a few changes to the script.”

Now as per a report in DNA, Aishwarya has turned down the movie. The daily quoted a source saying, “Aishwarya has turned down Jasmine. There were several loopholes in the script. Although Siddharth and Garima’s basic idea was strong, there were many problems with the story, which the actress had reportedly pointed out to the writer duo. After the corrections, they approached her with a fresh script, but Ash still felt she couldn’t relate to it. So, she politely informed the team that she won’t be able to do the film anymore.”

Even Shree Narayan Singh, who was earlier supposed to produce the film has backed out of the project. Singh told the tabloid that as Siddharth and Garima had other commitments to complete, the project has been put on hold.

So Ash might not be doing this film, but she will be seen in ‘Gulab Jamun’ opposite her husband Abhishek Bachchan.
