Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli to donate for the animals affected in Kerala floods

Bollywood celebrities have come out in full support to help those affected by the floods in ‘God’s Own Country’ Kerala. While some celebrities have urged their fans and followers to help the people of Kerala, there are some who have provided financial help too. Power couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, too have done the needful, not only for the humans hit by the wrath of nature but also the stray animals affected by the floods.

A source close to DNA said, “Anushka and Virat got in touch with their respective teams and immediately pledged support to the relief fund so that aid could reach the people of Kerala. Moreover, they are sponsoring a truck loaded with food and medicines to help the animals in crisis.”

The report further suggests that the ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ actress Anushka and her hubby Virat have teamed up with a local NGO and are assisting to send rescue teams comprising eight members for rehab and treatment.“They will look at rescuing strays in Kerala and the protection of wildlife. They want to provide support and care to the animals that are in need of urgent help,” added the source.
