Arjun Kapoor to lose the extra kilos for Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Panipat’?

Arjun Kapoor who has come on board for Ashutosh Gowariker’s period drama ‘Panipat’ will start prepping for the film soon. Gowariker is a perfectionsit and has asked Arjun to shed the extra kilos and get a soldier look for the film.

“Arjun has hit the gym big time and is working hard towards losing all those extra kilos. He has hired a trainer for himself and will get a lean body in a few months,” a source said. (Also Read: Neeta Lulla to design Ashutosh Gowariker’s period drama ‘Panipat’)

Arjun Kapoor will play Maratha leader Sadashivrao Bhau in Panipat. Reportedly, the actor will also be getting a coach who will help him learn Marathi for the same.

Gowarikar had announced ‘Panipat’ – a movie based on the third battle of Panipat last month and the director is currently busy locking the right location.  Apart from Arjun, Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon will also be part of  this ambitious project.

Apart from this project, Arjun Kapoor has two films opposite Parineeti Chopra, the first film is YRF’s ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ and the second film is ‘Namastey London’.
