Deepika Padukone to step into late actress Sridevi’ shoes for her next?

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who was last seen in ‘Padmaavat’, is presently enjoying a good time on the personal front. The reason being her alleged relationship with actor Ranveer Singh and the rumours surrounding their marriage. As per few reports, the actress will be getting hitched to Singh on November 10 in Italy. But since there is no official statement from the duo, we cannot say much about it. However, the two cuties are making their fans go aww with their PDA on social media.

Talking about her upcoming projects, the actress had not signed any film yet, but a report in DNA suggests that DP is being considered for the remake of late actress Sridevi’s superhit film, which released four decades ago. A source close to the leading daily said, “The original Sridevi film was made by a producer from the South and helmed by a Bollywood director. However, talks are on to procure the rights and remake it with Deepika. Nobody is willing to comment on the subject because talks have just been mooted and there are a lot of modalities involved. However, it is true that Deepika is in the know.”

Well, the name of Sridevi’s film is not known yet but we are sure that if Deepika gives a nod to the movie, she will make sure to do justice to her role. Besides this movie, rumours about Deepika starring in a super-hero film are doing the rounds.
