EXCLUSIVE: Aamir Khan is helping SRK prepare for the Rakesh Sharma biopic? Details Inside

Bollywood has a big list of actors who take the term ‘BFF’ too seriously. Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh and the list is endless. But not many know that Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan too are best pals as their friendship goes back a long way. The actors whom we have not seen together on social gatherings are very good friends in real life, contrary to media reports that they are rivals.

According to sources, Aamir Khan who was earlier slated to play legendary astronaut Rakesh Sharma on the silver screen in ‘Salute’ walked out of the film and now Shah Rukh Khan is all set to replace the ‘Dangal’ actor. Aamir was already prepping up for his film but backed out of the project as he wanted to concentrate on his dream project ‘Maharabata’ which is going to be a five movie series project. Now that Aamir is out of the scene, SRK is ready to start shooting of ‘Salute’ by September and will shoot for close to two to three months and wrap its first schedule. The next schedule of the biopic will begin from Jan 2019.

But if sources are to be believed, SRK and Aamir are very good friends and Aamir is now helping the ‘Dilwale’ actor in the preparation for his role. As we all know, Aamir is a perfectionist when it comes to doing the detailed study of his character, he has done a thorough study on Rakesh Sharma, who in 1984 became the first Indian to fly into space. Now that Aamir is not doing the film, he is sharing all the collected data with SRK which can be of use to him.

Reportedly, actress Priyanka Chopra too was approached to be a part of the film but since the actress was busy with her international projects, she too backed out after getting on board for the film.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in director Aanand L Rai’s ‘Zero’ which also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead. Whereas Aamir will next be seen in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the lead.
