Karan Johar to replace Sidharth Malhotra opposite Kareena Kapoor in his next?

It was recently reported that filmmaker Karan Johar is all set to make a fancy film. The Dharma Production head honcho had zeroed in on bestie Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sidharth Malhotra as the lead pair. He was also on a look out for a younger lead pair.

We bring you some latest updates on the subject. Apparently Karan Johar has roped in Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor to be his second lead couple.

As per sources, There were rumours of Kartik signing a film contract with Dharma. Sources have confirmed that Kartik is very much a part of this film along with the ‘Dhadak’ diva Janhvi.(Also Read:Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar catch the special screening of Alia Bhatt’s ‘Raazi’!)

KJo is also on a look out for a superstar to be cast opposite Kareena for he is unsure if Sidharth is the right choice to be paired opposite Bebo. Now this is not a good news for Sidharth who is currently facing a slump in his career. This movie could have helped him a lot.

The said movie will be directed by Shashank Khaitan’s assistant director Raj Mehta.
