Kareena Kapoor Khan will not be a part of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Salute’?

Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently basking in the glory of ‘Veere Di Wedding’ success. In a recent interview, the actress had said that she will be doing only one or two films in a year. And after hearing this, her fans are excited to know which project will Kareena take up post ‘Veere Di Wedding’.

It was speculated that the actress had said a ‘yes’ to Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Salute’. But, now according to a recent report, the actress is apparently not a part of the film. Shah Rukh and Kareena last came together seven years back in ‘Ra One’.

On the other hand, King Khan will begin the first leg of ‘Salute’ in the month of September this year. He will be working on the project for a month, and then take a brief break to promote his upcoming year-end release ‘Zero’.

Shah Rukh Khan will be essaying the role of astronaut Rakesh Sharma in ‘Salute’ and it’s the first time when he will be portraying a real-life hero on the big screen. Rakesh Sharma, a former Air Force pilot, who was the only Indian to travel into space is also a winner of Ashoka Chakra and Hero Of Soviet Union awards. The movie is scheduled for a 2019 release.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited film ‘Zero’ will release in December this year. The film directed by Aanand L Rai will also feature Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in lead roles.
