Katrina Kaif not keen on working with this actor again?

When you enter the Bollywood industry, you may not take the box-office success into consideration but after you have had a certain experience, the box-office success becomes one of the most important factors. Katrina Kaif, who has been around for almost 15 years now, has become conscious of her film choices.

Katrina’s last film, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ co-starring Salman Khan was a hit at the box-office and now Katrina does not want anything to affect that record. Now, according to a report on Mid Day, Kat was offered a romantic comedy co-starring Aditya Roy Kapur but the actress didn’t show much interest in doing the film. Kat and Aditya have worked together in ‘Fitoor’ back in 2016 but the film failed miserably. So maybe, that must have influenced her decision.

A source close to the tabloid was quoted as, “Though they are good friends, Katrina doesn’t want her career graph to see a low again. Ever since the success of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, she has been selective about the projects she takes on. Since Aditya doesn’t have a great box-office record, she doesn’t want to work with him.”

Aditya Roy Kapur’s last film, ‘OK Jaanu’ (released in 2017) failed to impress the masses and critics which resulted in a poor box-office collection. The film was a remake of the much loved Tamil film, ‘OK Kanmani’ which was a well-appreciated film and did good business at the box office too. ‘OK Jaanu’ couldn’t match up with its original and turned out to be a disappointment. Maybe this is one of the major reasons for Kat to politely reject the film.

Katrina is currently gearing up for ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ which also stars Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The film which is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra will release around Diwali this year. She will also be seen in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Zero’ co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. The film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Colour Yellow Productions and will release on December 21, 2018.

Aditya Roy Kapur is currently working on ‘Kalank’ which also stars Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt. Recently, there were reports that Aditya has injured himself on the set. As per a report in Hindustan Times, the actor slipped and suffered an injury while shooting for an action sequence.
