EXCLUSIVE: Katrina Kaif to romance Vicky Kaushal in Aditya Dhar’s next?

A lot of speculations have grabbed headlines in the last one month about an alleged relationship brewing between Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal. Apparently, Vicky had an ugly break-up with girlfriend Harleen Sethi when she found that he’s been busy spending time with the ‘Bharat’ actress.

But like we always tell you, there’s a reason behind such stories. None of the two actors has really dismissed the rumours. Instead, it seems they wanted something like this to crop up, because of another reason altogether. Yes, Katrina and Vicky are most likely to team up for a period saga.

Our source informs us, “Director Aditya Dhar is working on a project based on the character of Ashwatthama from Mahabharata. It’s a period film that will revolve around his valour and his mythological stories. Katrina has also been offered a part in the drama. According to the folklore, Ashwatthama was not married so what Katrina will play in the war based historical is not known yet.”

Aditya shares a warm equation with Kat and that’s how they zeroed in on her. “Katrina was the obvious choice because they needed an extremely gorgeous looking actress for the part. Her role will be kept under wraps but it’s pivotal to the film’s narrative. Katrina and Aditya were supposed to work on another film ‘Raat Baaki’ which both Salman Khan and Karan Johar were producing but the film got temporarily put on the backburner. They had been in talks for a film for some time now and after ‘Uri’, Aditya too has become hot property,” shared the source.

However, Kat has still not signed on the dotted line. She has liked the story but the modalities need to be worked out.
