‘Disco dancer’ Mithun Chakraborty flies off to Los Angeles for treatment?

Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty, popularly known as the Disco Dancer of Bollywood, is unwell. As per recent reports, the actor is currently in Los Angeles undergoing medical treatment. Reportedly, Mithun has been suffering from a chronic backache since last few years.

Talking about the actor’s health, a source was quoted as saying in Bollywood Life as, “Since the past few months, his back issue aggravated and he was not keeping well due to this. The family then decided to take him to LA for treatment. He was even hospitalized for a few days.” 

In LA, the actor is accompanied by his son Mahaakshay Chakraborty and daughter-in-law Madalsa Sharma.

The report in the web portal also stated that a source close to the family has confirmed about the actor responding to the treatment and is doing better now. However, none of the family members of the actor has confirmed the reports yet.

For the last few years, the veteran actor has been judging the popular dance reality show ‘DID’. Talking about his silver screen appearance, Mithun was last seen in ‘Genius’ which was helmed by Anil Sharma and starred his son Utkarsh Sharma and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles.

We wish the actor a speedy recovery and hope he returns to India before the New Year.
