The wedding festivities of desi girl Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have already started. After performing a Puja in Mumbai yesterday, NickYanka (yes, that’s what this adorable couple is fondly known as) flew off to Jodhpur today along with their families.

Preparations are already in full swing in Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace and everyone is eagerly looking forward to the wedding of the year. The couple’s Mehendi ceremony will take place today which will be followed by the Sangeet ceremony.

Yesterday, we gave you all the details of the couple’s wedding arrangements and how they have banned cell phones at their wedding. Now, according to a report in DNA, groom Nick Jonas will have a special baraat procession with a regal horse-drawn carriage to whisk away his bride. Yes, now just imagine how beautiful that moment would be! Picture perfect, right?

The report also states that at her Mehendi ceremony, Priyanka will be applying henna on her hands that will be sourced from India’s famous henna producing area Sojat.

The ‘Quantico’ actress is ensuring that the guests at her wedding experience the culture and cuisine of India and hence a lavish Rajasthani spread will be also be served for the guests.
