Bryan Adams concert: Priyanka Chopra to perform with A R Rahman for the opening act?

International popstar-singer-songwriter Bryan Adams is soon to come to India and fans cannot wait. The singer will be performing at a series of concerts across cities in India next month, including places like Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi. The concerts will take place from October 9, 2018 to October 14, 2018.

If recent reports are to be believed, our own Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra, who has now gone International, will be performing in the opening act of the concert, with music director and singer A R Rahman. She is said to perform in three cities for the same.

A source tells Hindustan Times, “Initially, the promoters weren’t keen on any opening act to ensure that the focus is solely on the artiste. But since Adams has worked with Priyanka previously, and AR Rahman has been Adams’ favourite musician from India, the promoters are finding a way to creatively rope in both the artistes. And although there is room for only one opening act, the promoters are trying to find a middle path. Additionally, a special act is being considered where all three will pay homage to the recent Kerala floods.”

This is not the first time that our PeeCee will be seen sharing stage with Bryan. The actress has earlier collaborated with the singer for ‘Hear the World Foundation’ which works for people with hearing loss.

Not just this, they also posed for a photoshoot together for the campaign in 2017 and a campaign for a fashion brand which zeroed in Priyanka as their first Indian face.

It sure will be a treat to see these legends perform on one stage.
