Say what! Salman Khan-Alia Bhatt to NOT play siblings but lovers in ‘Inshallah’?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a filmmaker who knows his craft too well. The director pours his heart in every project that he does so naturally its a dream come true for any actor to bag a role in his film. Bhansali’s last release, ‘Padmaavat’ did wonder at the box office, and now he is all set to make his next ‘Inshallah’ starring Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt.

When the star cast of ‘Inshallah’ announced it was a pleasant surprise for everyone, as this would be the first time when Alia and Salman will be working together and that too in a Bhansali film! Soon everyone started wondering whether 53-year-old Salman and 26-year-old Alia will be romantically paired in the film. Because that would be the weirdest on-screen pairing considering their age gap. Soon conjectures were made that perhaps Salman and Alia will play siblings in the film. However, it turns out like they are indeed paired romantically.

As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, ‘Inshallah’ is going to be a contemporary romance, in which Salman will play a businessman whereas Alia will play an aspiring actress. Revealing about the film’s plot a source close to the development told Mirror, “Salman is a businessman in his mid-40s. The character is reminiscent of his turn in his 1997 romcom Jab Pyar Kisisisise Hota Hai. Alia plays a 20-something aspiring actress. All the factors, including the age gap, have been taken into consideration. The story will justify the teaming up of two actors, from different generations, on a romantic journey.”

Now if this report turns out to be true then it has to be seen how this story gets translated on the celluloid.
