Here’s another addition to the rumours pertaining to Remo D’Souza and Salman Khan’s much discussed collaboration. It began when we heard Salman was being roped in for ‘ABCD 3’. But sources soon suggested this one was going to be a new film, revolving around a father and a daughter and their mutual efforts in learning to dance.
Now, the two are apparently joining hands for ‘Race 3’, third installment of the action thriller franchise. Producer Ramesh Taurani, after years of persuading Salman, has convinced him for the same. A report in DNA suggests, the superstar has already agreed to the script but with a condition. He wants to be directed by Remo. However, it was only a day back that we heard Salman had backed out of his dancing-daddy project with Remo. Reason being, he doesn’t consider himself to be of the right age to play father to a 13-year-old!
“Salman was not happy with the idea of playing a dad, who must learn dancing to please his young daughter. He feels that the role doesn’t suit his age. Salman has already burnt his fingers with trying to play a character much younger than his actual age in ‘Tubelight’. Every effort was made to convince Salman. But he remained unsure of looking credible as a dancing dad. He felt the role was more suited to Varun Dhawan, or one of the other younger heroes,” a source stated to Subhash K Jha on the same.
Given how the rumours are flooding in, we know not if ‘Race 3’ will actually be the duo’s first film as  an actor-director jodi. But we do hope it is!
