Is Sanjay Dutt’s daughter Trishala upset with Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Sanju’?

Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Sanju’ that is based on the controversial life of actor Sanjay Dutt is on a winning spree ever since its release. The Rajkumar Hirani directorial is being praised not only by fans but critics too. But, there’s this one thing that has caught the attention of many, which is that there was no mention of Sanjay’s daughter Trishala or his first wife in the movie that charts 37 years of Dutt’s life.

It is no secret that Sanjay Dutt has tied the knot thrice in his life. First to Richa Sharma in October 1987, who passed away a few years after their marriage, due to cancer. Second to Rhea Pillai in 1998 and then to his present wife Manyata Dutt in 2008. Richa and Trishala are a significant part of Dutt’s life, and surprisingly there is no mention of them in the movie.

Trishala who shares a great equation with her father has always been quite vocal in praising him and his films. But this time she has been keeping quiet on ‘Sanju’ much to the surprise of fans. She has maintained a silence on the biopic even when the teaser, poster, songs or the trailer of the film was launched.

She had sent a special video message for her father on the trailer launch of his comeback film ‘Bhoomi’, that was played in the presence of the media. But this time around when the world is praising ‘Sanju’ on the social media, Trishala has refrained from doing so.

As per a DNA report, apparently, the youngster is miffed that neither she nor her mother is mentioned in ‘Sanju’. While the character of Dutt’s kids with his third wife Maanayata Dutt do get some screen time.

Whether the speculations are true or not, that only Trishala can tell. But we would love to know the reason behind Trishala’s silence on her father’s biopic ‘Sanju’.
