Shraddha roped in to star opposite Prabhas in ‘Saaho’?

There have been a lot of reports about the lead actress opposite Prabhas in ‘Saaho’. Earlier it was said that Katrina Kaif was offered the role, but she rejected the film. Then apparently, Shraddha Kapoor and Disha Patani were offered the film, but both the actresses quoted a high amount, so the makers opted not to cast either of them.

Later, Anushka Shetty was being considered with for the film, but as she has already signed another Tamil flick, she couldn’t be a part of this film. It was also said that ‘Mohenjo Daro’ actress Pooja Hegde is being considered for the role. And now, there’s a buzz that Shraddha Kapoor has been finally roped in to star opposite Prabhas in the film. Reportedly, the actress has slashed her fees to star in the movie. However, we are still waiting for an official confirmation from either the makers or Shraddha. Earlier, while talking about Shraddha, an insider had stated, “Shraddha was our first choice. She heard us out and was almost jumping with excitement during the narration. Then, she quoted a price that had the team running out of her residence as fast as possible.”

“She wanted Rs 8 crore. We were shocked. We don’t pay that kind of money to actors in Telugu cinema. But she wouldn’t budge. She was like, ‘I love the script and I’d love to work with Prabhas. But the price remains unchanged.’ We fled,” the source added.

The source had also stated, “We are now done with Bollywood actresses. With Prabhas in the project we don’t need them. We will cast a Telugu actress.”

Well, let’s see these reports turn out to be true or not.

Meanwhile, Shraddha has two interesting projects in her kitty, the first one being ‘Haseena Parkar’, and the second one, Saina Nehwal’s biopic.
