SLB upset with Ranveer and Deepika’s liplock picture that went viral?

Recently, a picture of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone sharing a liplock had gone viral on the internet. Apparently, the picture is from a magazine shoot the duo had done sometime back. Now, there has been a lot of speculation already about their relationship status. While many believe that they are dating, some say that they had a breakup. However, the two were recently spotted enjoying a cosy dinner date quashing rumours of a breakup.

Now, rumours are rife that the director of their upcoming flick ‘Padmavati’, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is upset with the viral picture. Bhansali has already faced a lot of trouble due to disruptions in his shoot and delays and is ensuring that the shoot progresses smoothly now with any further delays. So amidst this all, when a picture of them kissing each other went viral, he feels that it could impact his movie to some extent as the two will not be sharing a single frame together. Another source stated to a daily that now when Bhansali and the producers Viacom18 Motion Pictures are ensuring the protesters that the two have no scenes together, a picture like this is harmful. For those who came late, severe protests were held and damage was done to the sets of the film as the protesters thought that he is distorting historical facts by showing a romantic sequence between Rani Padmavati (Deepika Padukone) and Alauddin Khilji (Ranveer Singh).

‘Padmavati’ also stars Shahid Kapoor and Aditi Rao Hydari and is all set to release on November 17, 2017.
