Not Karan Johar, but THIS director to launch Suhana Khan in Bollywood?

Shah Rukh Khan’s teenage daughter Suhana Khan swept the floor off everyone’s feet when she graced the cover of Vogue recently. And if that was not enough for the girly who is still pursuing her higher studies, she is now planning to make her grand Bollywood debut. And, guess what? The top directors from the fraternity have apparently shown keen interest to have her on-board for their projects.

If a report in Bollywood Hungama is to be believed, then it is not filmmaker Karan Johar, who is also a close friend of SRK, but director Sanjay Leela Bhansali who has shown an interest in launching King Khan’s daughter. A source close to the entertainment portal said, “Karan Johar is too obvious a name to do the needful. I think Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri are looking at some other names. As far as I know, almost every major filmmaker in Mumbai from Sanjay Leela Bhansali to Sujoy Ghosh has shown an interest in launching Suhana. She is a natural-born actress. Shabana Azmi saw her in a play and immediately recognized an accomplished actress in the debutante.”

“His son Aryan is not yet inclined towards acting. But, daughter Suhana is definitely interested in an acting career. But, Shah Rukh wanted her to go through the grind. She has been doing theatre regularly. Now, both Shah Rukh and his wife Gauri feel Suhana is ready for a film career,” added a friend close to the ‘Chennai Express’ actor.

Now it remains to see which director the 18-year-old chooses for her Bollywood debut.
