UNDECIDED ‘Padmavati’ release date leaves ‘Kaalakaandi’, ‘Pad Man’ and ‘Hichki’ in a FIX?

As stated, Saif Ali Khan's 'Kaalakaandi' is set to release on January 12, 2018. But in case 'Padmavati' gets released on this date, then the makers of Saif's film may want to change the release date of their film or else the film would be badly affected. In fact, Saif at a recent even hinted at the possibility of chnaging the release date in this situation as he said, "Release dates move around... It is part of the business. But we had our event (trailer launch) yesterday (Wednesday)."

Pad Man

The next lucrative date for 'Padmavati' to release is January 26. But this date has already been grabbed by Akshay Kumar's 'Pad Man' and Sidharth Malhotra's 'Aiyaary'. With three big films releasing on the same, it would be interesting to see who wins the battle. Unless somebody backs out!

Aiyaary

Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayeee's 'Aiyaary' already has a competition from Akshay Kumar's 'Pad Man'. In such case, if it has to battle with 'Padmavati' on January 26, then the path to success is going to be tough for 'Aiyaary'.

Parmanu

If not January, then 'Padmavati' will hit the screens in February. And if it is the second month of the year, then the films that will get affected are 'Parmanu' and 'Hichki'. John Abraham's 'Parmanu' which was supposed to release in December this year, but got pushed to February next year because of 'Padmavati'. Now, if 'Padmavati' bags a slot in the month of February, we wonder whether the makers of 'Paramanu' will change the release date of their film once again or not.

Hichki

Same is the case with 'Hichki'. Rani Mukerji's comeback film has competition from John Abraham's 'Parmanu'. And in this case, if it has to clash with 'Padmavati', then the makers may contemplate changing the release date.
