There is no doubt in the fact that actor Varun Dhawan is immensely talented and he has always impressed us with his acting mettle. Over the years he has evolved as an actor and wooed us with his movies like ‘Badlapur’, ‘October’, and ‘Sui Dhaaga’ among others. Earlier it was reported that Varun’s director father David Dhawan will bring back his hit No. 1 franchise with his own production house. Now, the latest report in Mumbai Mirror states that Varun is to kickstart the No. 1 franchise with Govinda and Karisma Kapoor starrer ‘Coolie No. 1’.
The source close to the development told the tabloid, “He(Varun) will dash back in between to promote ‘Kalank’ which unveils in April. In fact, all through the year, he will be juggling multiple assignments.” Varun will also work with Shashank Khaitan for an action thriller. “He is in the process locking the script and plans to take the film on the floors towards the year-end, perhaps in November,” added the source.
Varun has wrapped the Punjab schedule of ‘Street Dancer’ and he will head to London for the second schedule that will start from February 10. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, the dance flick also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi in pivotal roles. It is scheduled to release on November 8, 2019.
He has also wrapped up the shoot of Abhishek Varman’s ‘Kalank’ that has an ensemble cast of Madhuri Dixit Nene, Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha. Produced by Dharma Productions, the movie is slated to release on April 19, 2019.
