There are many celebrities on social media who trend like crazy, but then there are only few who rule the trending chart. And one such actress who could be called a social media queen, is none other than Deepika Padukone. Of late promoting her controversial upcoming film ‘Padmavati’, we have seen her flashing some desi ensembles with utter panache.

And so while attending the Social Media Summit Awards, Deepika again chose the nine yard drape and looked stunning in it. Styled by her go-to stylist, Shaleena Nathani, Deepika opted for a dark green coloured banarasi kadwa weave saree with golden zari work which she teamed up with a full-sleeve old patterned boat neck blouse. Further, with her lashes and brows done right, neat gelled up tresses tied in a bun, subtle makeup, statement neck-piece and earrings in gold by Tanishq and last but not the least, a hint of brownish-red lip colour is how the diva rounded off her look. Style score: 3.5/5! *the only drawback we feel here is the blouse*

Verdict…
Last night we saw Deepika on ‘Bigg Boss 11’ promoting her flick ‘Padmavati’ where she wore a twisted red outfit which was again full-sleeved. We wonder why Deepika is not showing even a little bit of skin during her movie promotion. Is it that the actress is going the conservative way to stay away from more controversies attached to the film?
Well, we are simply stunned to see that Deepika can literally pull off any look; be it a saree or some twisted traditional attire. Kudos to her!
