Colour blocking done right!
In the above picture, we see Shilpa wearing a red saree with a thick golden border and a contrasting black printed blouse. On a much frank note, we are seriously copying this look as soon as we can, because we’ve loved her blouse *drooling*. Attention to details, match your nail colour with the blouse shade and add those always aromatic gajras and you are done.
Step 1: Blouse
Getting a ditto looking blouse just like Shilpa's was hard for us. But, we researched a lot for you and found a black half-sleeved printed blouse which you can see in the above picture. The abstract print on the sleeves and also the deep neckline on the back; makes the above clothing piece a must buy.
Step 2: Saree
Without a doubt, ethnic wear in red makes one look quite royal and the banarasi saree shown in the above picture will go very well with the blouse we suggested in step 1. The saree has a hint of colour gold, black and obviously red which a perfect pick for the next festive season.
Step 3: Jhumkas
Oxidised jewellery is very much in vogue these days. The junk/brass jewellery shown in the above picture will add the perfect contrast to the red-gold saree that we’ve suggested you. Also, the peacock details on the danglers will add the perfect feminine appeal to your desi look. P.S. - Do not forget to buy some gajras; like that’s one of the highlighting element, you cant miss it!
