Karisma Kapoor teaches us how stripes can elevate a look!

It’s been 26 years since Karisma Kapoor’s Bollywood debut, and it’s safe to say that the star still looks the same; pretty and bubbly. With trying almost everything which comes under the sophisticated fashion roof, this mommy is surely a style inspiration for many. Be it her heavy Manish Malhotra lehengas, Rahul Mishra’s intricately embroidered ensembles or the regal Sabyasachi sarees, we’ve loved Lolo in every outfit.

But don’t let this fool you that Karisma Kapoor’s closet is boring and full of Indian attires. As 2017 saw the star’s style take a turn towards the experimental route, she’s now worn everything from vibrant florals to embellished Anamika Khannas. She’s that kind of an actress who picks pieces that flatter her petite frame instead of chasing the trend of the month.

And so very recently, Karisma attended an event in Lucknow where she stunned us with her awesome outfit by Saaksha & Kinni. The embroidered floral shirt with that sequined midi pencil skirt and the striped long jacket looked gorgeous on her. We are just going nuts on how the stylist added that striped jacket to her overall look, which was surely the elevating factor. Verdict: Firstly, a big round of applause for Karisma for carrying such an over the top outfit with much grace. Secondly, there is so much to appreciate here in terms of different textiles and how cohesive the whole look is. In spite of the whole look being all brown, Karisma just spelled stunning and there is nothing to complain. Kudos to her! Also, we just loved how Lolo has tried to blend her look well with those ankle strap sandals, smokey eyes and hair in an updo. Lastly, the striped jacket which adds a lot of glamour to the overall getup is surely the king here.
