Ranveer Singh
International designer Manish Arora chose Ranveer Singh to be the face of his 'Cosmic Love' collection. Who else could be a better choice for this ultra mad outfit, anyways? His shimmery sequined disco jacket had the entire colour card, quite literally; mustard, midnight blue, tangerine, violet, fuchsia, green and red. He clubbed it with simple black pants, black slip-ons and quirky sunnies (thank goodness). Verdict – We love it when Ranveer goes berserk with his fashion choices. If Ranveer Singh were a jacket, he'd actually resemble this one, for sure! Style score- Nah, we dare not! Our hotness meter will explode.
Nargis Fakhri
The fourth day of Lakme Fashion Week was all about how sensual Nargis Fakhri looked on the runway. She walked the ramp for ace designer Anushree Reddy in this blazing lemon-yellow lehenga with intrinsic silver embellishments. The super short, sexy gold choli looked gorgeous while the baby-pink, net dupatta lightened the look of this sensual, bling-a-ding outfit. The lady teamed it up with a royal emerald neck-piece that added a hint of sophistication to her glamorous ethnic look. Verdict – Flaunting just the right amount of cleavage, the woman looked classy and hot AF. Nargis' look is easily one of the most vibrant ones on the runway in the last four days. Style score - 4.5/5!
Vaani Kapoor
That’s how Vaani Kapoor rocked the modern-day royalty look on Day 4. Turning showstopper for Sonam and Paras Modi’s ‘Naseem Bagh’ collection, she strutted across the ramp in this scarlet lehenga set with a plunging neckline blouse and metallic belt. This Nawab- inspired outfit was accessorised with a statement silver ring, danglers and cherry lips. Verdict – Vaani looks like a demure bride and all the style elements were subtle yet bang on. Though the look is lovely and her toned midriff more than satiates our style-hungry soul, we wish there was some ‘wow’ factor in the outfit. Style score- 3.5/5!
Elli AvrRam
Elli AvrRam was all decked up in the Kolkata-based designer Manoj Agarwal’s glittery ensemble that gave the audience a glimpse of the grand era of the Rajputs and the Mughals. Wearing an all red, embroidered lehenga with a long embellished trail and dupatta, she looked majestic to say the least. We’re still drooling over the handcrafted zari embroidery and gorgeous bridal jewellery. Verdict – Elli looked convincing as the regal Indian bride and pulled off the look with much grace. There’s nothing to not like about this ensemble. Style score - 4/5!
Saiyami Kher
Look who closed the ‘Lakmé Salon Show Stopping Bride’ show of designer Nachiket Barve. Newbie Saiyami Kher looked pretty in this rich indigo, layered, scalloped, lehenga choli with wreath embroidery and a sparkling dupatta. The actress kept the hair half tied up and wore elegant ear cuffs to complete the look. Verdict – It was her cascading tresses and stunning eyes that stole the show, not the ensemble. The look was too blah for our liking. Style score- 2.5/5!
Vidyut Jammwal
Designer Asa Kazingmei presented showstopper Vidyut Jammwal in a fierce warrior avatar. The all-black outfit, dreadlocks and calf-high black boots gave Vidyut an intense look! The leather jacket, multipocket pants with zippered detailing and vest proved that he was all ready to fight it out. Verdict – Vidyut flaunted his aggressive side in a perfect warrior-like demeanour. Hot and confident! Style score- 4.5/5!
Ali Fazal
Inspired by ancient warriors with metal punk, Ali’s Asa Kazingmei outfit is all about glamour and power. A part of the Johnnie Walker-inspired collection portraying the Striding Man, he’s also sporting an all-black look with a laser cut black hoodie that had multiple strap detailing, black trousers and black boots. The snazzy hat takes the look a notch higher. Verdict – Ali strode down the ramp very confidently and looked as hot as Vidyut. Style score- 4.5/5!
Aahana Kumra
The new B-town hottie from the ‘Lipstick Under My Burkha’, Aahana Kumra graced the front row of the LFW looking lovely. She donned this pretty white midi dress and clubbed it with white block heels and delicate danglers and bright lips. Verdict – Although the look was elegant, we’re not sure why she chose those tacky sandals with flowers and that pink bra strap is quite distracting. Style score- 3/5!
Shriya Saran
Shriya turned up on the red carpet in these easy breezy black separates that included a crop top and palazzo pants. She kept accessories to a minimum and clubbed the outfit with black flat sandals. Verdict – There’s nothing too striking about this outfit but the lady wears it confidently. Style score- 2.5/5!
Sikandar Kher
Sikandar walked the LFW ramp for the new fashion label Antar-Agni. Dressed in simple grey harem pants and a beige collared kurta, Kher completed the look with brown slip-ons. Verdict – Sikandar has opted for a relaxed and easy going route that’s perfect for the much-dreaded Indian summer. Style score- 3/5!
Kim Sharma
The long-forgotten actress was seen on the LFW carpet wearing this long striped white dress with a knee-high slit. Kim opted for a low, messy bun and minimal makeup. Verdict – We think Kim was forced to come to the show or was just not in a good mood. Either way, nothing is mentionable about her ensemble as she looked dull and meh. Style score- 2/5!
As the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week 2017 is unveiling, its star quotient is on the rise. The fourth day of the gala event quickly escalated from the blazing bridal avatar of Nargis Fakhri to the wacky, colourful world of Ranveer Singh at night. And of course, with fashion stalwarts like Anushree Reddy, Manoj Agarrwal and Manish Arora, Day 4 was a helluva houseful show that was high on glamour and hunk quotient (woo-hoo). (Also Read: With Chitrangada, Shraddha and many more, Day 3 of LFW was high-on star power!)
