Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Winning the 'Most Beautiful Global Indian Icon' Award and styled by Aastha Sharma, Aishwarya looked just marvellous in a lacy off-shoulder gown in black. Further, to compliment her look well, she opted for those shimmery red Jimmy Choo pumps, messy textured hair and bright red lips. Verdict- Needless to say, no one can beat this woman when it comes to fashion. Just look at her in the above picture. There is nothing we can say has gone awry with regards to her style. From matching her lip tone with her pumps to showing us that the classic black colour will never go out of vogue, she has nailed each and every element. Fashion score - 4.5/5!
Karisma Kapoor
One of the panellists, Karisma dialled a metallic number with a hand moulded dress from Amit Aggarwal. Further, to compliment her overall look, she went for a double liner and a double braid which highlighted her bright blue eyes perfectly. Verdict- We cannot deny the fact that Karisma carried that metallic dress with a lot of panache. From opting for a minimal makeup to posing like a boss for the shutterbugs, Karisma's style outing was experimental and a notch higher. Fashion score - 3.5/5!
Disha Patani
This girl is surely injecting us with a lot of alluring style shenanigans! Disha Patani, who was also present at the event, opted for a thigh-high slit dress in black with delicate waist that accentuated her legs a lot. Verdict- Disha surely grabbed many eyeballs owing to her sexy outfit at the event but went to overboard with the skin show this time. Also, to mention, we loved her soft updo and smokey eyes element. In short, Disha looked good but there was too much happening on the dress which made her look overdone. Fashion score - 2.5/5!
Aditi Rao Hydari
Styled by Sanam Ratansi, Aditi chose to sport a Basil Soda gown which did not go well with the 'Flawless Face' title she won at the event. Also, the multi-coloured abstract print design on her dress made her look heavy on the top. Yikes! Verdict- Aditi, getting inspired from the West (here her dress reminds us of Katy Perry from the song 'The Dark Horse') with regards to fashion is good, but you can't look this tacky and out of the place. Your unflattering show of décolletage coupled with a bad hairdo and those tassel earrings, made you look BAD. Fashion score - 1/5!
Diana Penty
Styled by Nidhi Jacob, Diana looked okay-ish in a sheer net mid-length dress with flowery garlands embroidered all over it. Her velvet red pointed heels added as a classy statement to the overall getup. Verdict- Let's, review this straight, Diana, it's not a promotional event for a film, it's Vogue Beauty Awards, girl? Looking as if you just have just rolled into a bed of flowers, your bloomed floral avatar was surely unimpressive. Fashion score- 1.5/5!
Sunny Leone and Daniel Weber
Looking like a bombshell in a strapless black gown featuring an oversized bow on one-shoulder, Sunny flashed her toned legs and accessorised her look with a clutch, strappy heels, bright lips and a sleek side parted updo. Verdict- How HOT Sunny looks in that black number? From that plunging neckline to the contrasting lip colour, Sunny made us go wow with her looks. Well done darl! Fashion score - 3/5!
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput
Styled by Anisha Jain, Shahid Kapoor was clicked donning a wine coloured suit over a basic white tee with cropped pants and glossy tan brown shoes. Looking dapper as usual with his unusual style sense, Shahid bagged the 'Most Beautiful Couple Award' with wifey Mira, who looked pretty in a black-grey coloured glittery gown with shimmery pumps, delicate earrings and a sleek pulled back wavy pony. Verdict- As always we do not have any complains with this lovey-dovey couple for their sartorial choices here. The best part we love about this duo is that they hardly try to match the colour of their outfits and prefer to look sassy as a couple always. Couple's fashion score- 3/5!
Dia Mirza
Also present at the awards night was Dia Mirza, who looked awesome as always. But, this time she upped her style game by wearing a panelled fish scale detailed silver gown. She kept her look minimalistic without any accessories. Verdict- We loved the choice of gown by Dia, its eye-catchy and suits her perfectly. And the best part was that she went sans accessories with just a hint of pink lip colour. Fashion score- 3/5!
Varun Dhawan
Winning the' Most Beautiful Man Of the year' and styled by the Vogue Fashion editor, Anaita Shroff Adajania, Varun Dhawan looked handsome in his black suit replete with a pocket square and rounded up his look with glossy black shoes and a little scruff. Verdict- Yes, we know there is not much to experiment with men's fashion, (until and unless you are Ranveer Singh) Varun's sartorial choice was on-point. Just look at that detailing on Varun's black suit, it's pretty. Fashion score- 3.5/5!
Suraj Pancholi
Also gracing the black carpet was Suraj, who looked decently styled. Looking dapper in a metal grey tuxedo with a perfectly kept stubble. His tan brown shoes were surely the eye-catchers. Verdict- Suraj Pancholi was not dressed so well, but overall his style outing was quite good. And of course he is gonna get some brownie points for his shoes here. Fashion score- 3/5!
Rhea Chakraborty
Rhea carried sunshine to the event by wearing a yellow side-slit dress. Her hair loosely tied-in a ponytail displayed her beautiful face in perfect symmetry. Verdict- While we saw a lot of black, grey and white colours at the event, Rhea's move to come dressed up in a yellow dress was a good idea indeed. Simply dressed but still she made heads turn. Fashion score- 3/5!
Pooja Hegde
Spotted at the awards ceremony was also Pooja Hegde who opted for a sequined white gown with black details on the arms. To further highlight her look she went for the classic hairstyle, the kind you see on every single red carpet, sleek and super straight hair. Verdict- We'll not at all say she was dressed right or was dressed the best. But opting for a white body-faltering dress with a long train behind and those shiny heels, she has impressed us. Fashion score- 3/5!
Bhumi Pednekar
Wearing a nude pink coloured dress with a middle slit, Bhumi looked very mediocre. Also, from those silver strappy heels to her winged eyes, Bhumi just made us think, can you play with colours or experiment babe? Verdict- Bhumi once again looked afraid to experiment with her style by wearing a loosely fitted gown. Her mid-parted straight hair made her look too boring. Fashion score- 2/5!
The Bachchan clan
The Bachchans had a picture perfect moment at the Vogue Beauty Awards, when Big B, Jaya, and Shweta posed for the media along with Navya. Navya surely knows how to light up a venue as she was spotted wearing an embellished off white dress with tiny black details giving a peek of her svelte body. Verdict- We'll not talk about any Bachchans here, because Navya Naveli grabbed all the limelight from them. The millennial made a black carpet debut with her smouldering avatar and is the cover girl of Vogue for this month, wore a Monisha Jaising creation and looked breathtaking. Fashion score- 4/5!
Waluscha De Sousa
Wearing a fitted Atsu full sleeved gown, Waluscha steered clear of accessories and channelled a minimal vibe of a subtle makeup of nude pink lips, well defined eyes, strong eyebrows and her hair pulled back into a sleek low back ponytail. She topped off the look with sleek black heels. Verdict-Glittery golden is certainly not the easiest colour to carry off as it can quickly be tagged as tacky if not done right! But doing it just the right way, Waluscha retained the glamour of the look by keeping the look minimal. Fashion score- 3.5/5! For more fashion reviews like this one, stay tuned to Bollywood Bubble!
