On the work front, Alia Bhatt has been extremely busy with the promotions of her recent release, ‘Gully Boy’ in which she was seen playing Ranveer Singh’s girlfriend, Safeena. She will next be seen in Abhishek Varman’s ‘Kalank’. The movie is a period drama which also stars Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Sanjay Dutt. ‘Kalank’ is being produced by Karan Johar and is slated to release on April 18, 2019. She also has Karan Johar’s ‘Takht’ featuring Kareena Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Bhumi Pednekar and many others.
