Saree gets a poor makeover, courtesy Shilpa Shetty!

The evergreen Indian fashion trend which can be worn on almost any occasion, has tones of patterns and styles to choose from and will surely add more desi appeal to your overall look, is none other than the nine yard Indian wonder saree. Also, almost all Bollywood divas have adorned a saree at one time or the other. While some like Rekha exude elegance in it, others like Sushmita Sen, Katrina Kaif and Shilpa Shetty give it a fusion twist at times and added the much needed oomph factor.

But today here, we will be talking about the always fit and fabulous actress, Shilpa Shetty. The actress has set some standards with regards to fitness in the industry. But, her latest Instagram photo where she seen wearing a dark blue and white toned saree, is surely among the worst of Shilpa’s fashion choice till date.

Now let’s get to the point, you know we all love when a celebrity is all experimental with style. But Shilpa’s this saree is just taking things to a whole new level of weird. The IKAI saree donned by the actress looks uncomfortably draped and we wonder how Shilpa managed to walk in that disaster. We think, the saree is meant just for photo sessions and not for humans to stroll in. Overall, the ensemble looks more of a slit skirt with pallu, worn with a contrasting coloured crop-top. The bad part is, Shilpa has experimented with sarees in the past too and has stunned us looking rather beautiful in them. Here’s a proof below where her mango coloured saree stint was decent enough and not that shoddy like the latest one.
