Sonam’s outfit is more colourful than a kid’s crayon scribbles, and we still love it!

Remember sitting amidst a pool of crayons or watercolours as a kid and scribbling on a chart paper? Yeah, that’s exactly what came to our mind the moment we saw Sonam Kapoor’s designer outfit that she wore for a dinner hosted by a publication house in Mumbai. In fact, we think her bright ensemble is way more colourful than a child’s imagination and takes the cake for its eccentric take on fashion. (Also read: Aww! Ms. Kapoor stepped out in these breathtaking winter separates from Australian designer, Zoe Champion, who is popular for creating bright knitwear pieces. The actress unapologetically flaunted explosive colours in her tangerine-hued skirt pants that she clubbed with a baby pink jumper. But we still can’t get over how she layered the look with a colour-block overcoat in hues of yellow, red and pink that is such a beauty.

Sister and celebrity stylist Rhea Kapoor opted for a pair of pink diamond studs from Minawala (the choice could have been better) and a L’afshar clutch that accentuated the look. Considering there were too many colours in the outfit, pairing it with beige Manolo Blahnik pumps was the right move. Sonam kept the ear-tucked, poker straight hair simple and chose muted makeup to tone down the look.

Sonam has always been unpredictable and she’s never been about taking half measures. She always goes all out and takes the risk of getting judged for her sartorial choices. And that’s what we love about her. Don’t we?
