Yes, this film was an emotional journey for KJo as it was the last film that was produced by his father Yash Johar, before his demise. This film managed to gain many awards including the Best Film Award at IFFA. Apart from these three, we did see cameo of divas like Kajol and Rani Mukerji. Sonali Bendre had a special role to play in this film, and we even got to see Sanjay Kapoor in a special appearance.
On the work front, Karan’s last film as a director was ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. He has now taken a break from direction and is busy producing a lot of films. His next venture as a producer is ‘Drive’ that stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez. Apart from that he is all set to launch Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter in the film ‘Dhadak’ which is the Hindi remake of Marathi film ‘Sairat’. He will also be producing Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ that will see Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead.
