15 years and still going strong – “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”

Nobody realized the fat paunchy chasmish shy boy would become so famous. Fifteen years back he had wielded the megaphone to direct his first feature film with Superstar Shahrukh Khan and Kajol, the famous and successful pair of DDLJ and new Mukherjee girl Rani was introduced in a supporting role. And the rest as they say, is history!

Yes we are talking about Karan Johar and his magnum opus ‘KuchKuch Hota Hai’. Today it has completed fifteen years of its inception and is still considered a hot favourite.

The game of Basket ball was revived along with the wars “Rahul is a cheater”.  And the best thing Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan sharing screen space. With Salman Khan taking in  all the Oohs an Aahs as Aman and also girls felt sorry for him for losing Anjali to Rahul.
Shahrukh Khan the trendsetter with his ‘Cool’ chain and his designer tracksuits, his fashion was displayed on every college campus. SRK- Kajol’s Sizzling Chemistry was the cherry on the top. The awkward, nervous, more-than-friends, less-than-lovers vibe they shared throughout the film. And that mesmerizing rain dance in the cabana.
