Salman Khan is basking in the glory of his recent release ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. The actor is at prsent busy with his upcoming film ‘Sultan’ based on the life of a wrestler. He is playing the role of a Haryanvi wrestler in the film and will be speaking in chaste Haryanvi. To tutor the actor a tutor was hired, but prior to bagging the job the tutor had to give a test and beat 25 other competetors.
The Sultan’s team had interviewed around 25 men for the job of a Haryanvi tutor before Salman finalised on one man.
Sources said, “A full-time Haryanvi coach has been employed for Salman. He accompanies Salman throughout the day at media events and shooting schedules and the two work on the former’s accent and diction whenever they find the time. This is the first time Salman is putting on a strong accent for a film, so he wants to make sure that he does it right.”
Sources added, “Salman also has to add bulk to make his character look authentic. At the moment he is bulking up to look hefty for the scenes showing him indulging in mixed martial arts. He is undergoing extensive five hour training sessions of cardio, weight-training and stretching.”
‘Sultan’ has Anushka Sharma opposite Salman Khan and is set to hit the theaters on Eid, 2016.
