Actor Akhil Mishra, popularly known for playing the role of librarian Dubey in Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots, is no more. The actor died earlier today (September 21). He was 58. As per reports, AKhil was shooting for a project in Hyderabad. His friend and life coach, Kulwinder Bakshi, confirmed the sad news and said, “He died after falling from a building there.”

Akhil Mishra’s wife Suzanne Bernert is in shock. ETimes quoted her saying, “My heart is broken, my second half is gone.” As soon as she got to know about his death, she has been reportedly doing all the arrangements and preparing for the cremation.

Akhil Mishra had won hearts with his performance as Librarian Dubey in 3 Idiots. 3 Idiots starred Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Boman Irani, and Kareena Kapoor Khan among others.

Apart from Rajkumar Hirani’s film, he also appeared in movies like Don, Gandhi My Father, Shikhar and many more.
He also worked in popular TV shows. For the uninitiated, he was a part of the TV show Uttaran. He played the role of Umed Singh Bundela in Uttaran. Apart from that, he also worked in TV shows like Bhanwar, Udaan, CID, Bharat Ek Koj, Rajani, and Shrimaan Shrimati among others.
Talking about his personal life, Akhil married German actress Suzanne Bernert on February 3, 2009. Later, they got married in a traditional ceremony on 30th September, 2011. For the unversed, Akhil’s wife is popular in the TV industry as well. She has worked in TV shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Savdhaan India, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat among others.
