The 69th National Film Awards took place in Delhi with President Droupadi Murmu conferring the awards. Several celebrities including Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon, Waheeda Rehman, Allu Arjun, R Madhavan and others attended the awards ceremony. Alia, Kriti, and Allu Arjun received their first National Award. On the other hand, Sardar Udham team won big. Having said that, here’s a look at the 69th National Film Awards winners list.

Best Actress: Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon jointly received the Best Actress award for their films Gangubai Kathiawadi and Mimi respectively. Alia played the titular role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film whereas Kriti played the role of a surrogate mother in Laxman Utekar directorial. After receiving the award, Alia and Kriti also expressed their gratitude.

Best Actor: Allu Arjun won his first National Award. Allu Arjun received the Best Actor award for his performance in Pushpa: The Rise.

Best Supporting Actor: Pankaj Tripathi (Mimi)

Best Supporting Actress: Pallavi Joshi (The Kashmir Files)

Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award: Waheeda Rehman

Jury Award: Karan Johar’s Shershaah won special Jury award

Best Feature Film: Rocketry: The Nambi Effect

Best Kannada Film: Rakshit Shetty starrer 777 Charlie

Best Hindi Film: Sardar Udham

Best Production Design: Dmitrii Malich and Masi Dhruv Mehta for Sardar Udham

Best Costume Designer: Veera Kapur Ee for Sardar Udham

Best Music Direction: Devi Sri Prasad for Pushpa: The Rise and MM Keeravaani for RRR

Best Special Effects: V Srinivas Mohan for RRR

Best Choreography: Prem Rakshith for RRR

Best Action Direction Award: King Soloman for RRR

Best Screenplay: Gangubai Kathiawadi and Nayattu

Best Audiography: Sardar Udham, Chavittu and Jhilli

Best Editing: Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Gangubai Kathiawadi

Best Male Playback Singer: Kaal Bhairava for RRR

Best Female Playback Singer: Shreya Ghoshal for Iravin Nizhal

Best Cinematography: Avik Mukhopadhayay for Sardar Udham
