’83’ Teaser Poster: Ranveer Singh ready to lead the team to World Cup victory

Ranveer Singh starrer ’83’ is one of the most awaited movies right now. Cricket fanatics are eager to see Ranveer lead the Indian Cricket Team in the movie and what better day than January 26 to unveil the poster of the movie.

Ranveer took to his Instagram to share the combined first look poster of ’83’. While character posters were being released everyday by the makers, this is the combined poster of the movie.

The video begins introducing all character players one by one and Ranveer in the end as Kapil Dev. The caption read, “#ThisIs83”

While Ranveer plays the character of former Indian Cricket Team captain Kapil Dev, his wife Deepika Padukone will be playing his on-screen wife in the character of Kapil’s wife Romi Bhatia.

Talking about Ranveer’s uncanny resemblance, Kapil Dev told IANS, “I was surprised! At one glimpse, from a distance, there is an uncanny similarity. Of course in close-up, one can understand that it is Ranveer Singh and not me! But I have to say the makeup artist has done a great job. I appreciate that.”

Apart from Ranveer and Deepika the movie also stars Harrdy Sandhu, Saqib Saleem, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Ammy Virk, Jatin Sarna, and Chirag Patil. ’83’ is directed by Kabir Khan and the movie will be releasing in Tamil and Telugu besides Hindi. ’83’ will hit the silver screens on April 10 this year.
