83: Ranveer Singh’s coach showers praise on him, says, ‘Can’t love and thank you enough’

83 is getting lots of appreciation. Ranveer Singh who has played Kapil Dev has been raved for his brilliant performance. The movie has hit the theatres on December 24. Before the release, there was a special screening and praises are pouring in from celebs who watched 83. Ranveer’s coach Rajiv Mehra also attended the screening of 83 and he couldn’t stop praising the sports drama. He penned a heartfelt note for the Gully Boy actor. The actor shared the note on his Instagram handle.

Rajiv, in his appreciation post wrote, “I am just too overwhelmed and grateful to God and everyone who has been a part of this epic”.

“It was like prayer for you, I remember how much love, sweat you have poured in,” he added. Mehra further wrote, “Every batting session, every ball that I bowled to you, every single ball you bowled in practice, every single exercise we did, every single pool session and each and every minute we have spent in pursuit of excellence, is all worth it Ranveer.”

Rajiv also wrote that he is ‘inspired by every inch’ of Ranveer. “I can’t love and thank you enough, I’m just inspired by every inch of who you are,” wrote the coach.

Directed by Kabir Khan, 83 also stars Deepika Padukone as Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Bhatia, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Saqib Saleem, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, and Jatin Sarna, among others. It’s about Indian Cricket team’s historic win in 1983 World Cup.
