Two days back a massive fire broke out at the iconic RK Studios in Mumbai. The fire was so intense that it damaged the studio completely. Post this; a lot of people came forward to express their shock over this incident. But one such reaction has offended Rishi Kapoor.
When RK Studios was built, the first film that was shot there was ‘Aag’, directed and produced by Raj Kapoor in 1948. So one cartoon had a visual of Raj Kapoor overlooking the RK studios from heaven with copy, “Fire is good omen in my life…it all started with ‘Aag’.”
This did not go down well with Rishi Kapoor who retweeted the same and stated, “This is bad. We take objection to this kind of depraved sick humour.”

It is indeed a great loss for the film fraternity. (Also Check: Ranbir Kapoor visits RK Studios after the recent fire incident)
Rishi Kapoor would next be seen in ‘102 Not Out’ with Amitabh Bachchan.
