We all know that Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Raees’ has been in news for having Pakistani actress Mahira Khan in the lead role. After the Uri attacks, Pakistani artistes have been banned in India, and that’s why the actress won’t be promoting the film. Few days ago, SRK had also met MNS chief Raj Thackeray to ensure that Mahira won’t come to India to promote the film.
However, it looks like the film is still facing issues in some parts of the country.
Well, film exhibitor, Akshaye Rathi took to Twitter to share a letter in which a political party has told them to ban the release ‘Raees’ in Chhattisgarh.

Dear @AUThackeray,
We have received this threat letter from your Chhattisgarh unit against playing @iamsrk‘s #Raees. Do you endorse it? pic.twitter.com/RHai71yGZV— Akshaye Rathi (@akshayerathi) January 10, 2017
Request all @iamsrk fans to help me bring this to the notice of @AUThackeray. I’m sure he will take action against this nuisance. #Raees https://t.co/k6xvFMi1aM
