The beautiful actress Preity Zinta is one name associated with many successful films in Bollywood. An Actress and Entrepreneur, this talented personality is celebrating her 41st birthday today.

She was born on 31st January 1975 in Rohru – Shimla district, Himachal Pradesh. She had lost her father in a Car accident at the mere age of 13, forcing a situation to mature rapidly. After graduating with a degree in criminal psychology, the actress entered the exciting world of Cinema in the year 1998 with Mani Ratnam’s ‘Dil Se.’ But her first recognition came in the role of a teenage single mother in ‘Kya Kehna.’

After this, it was no looking back for this talented actress who went to give spectacular performances in films like ‘Dil Chahta Hai,’ ‘Kal Ho Na Ho,’ ‘Koi… Mil Gaya,’ ‘Veer-Zaara’ and ‘Salaam Namaste.’ 

Preity made her debut in the West with a Canadian film titled ‘Heaven on Earth’ directed by Deepa Mehta.

Following so much success on big-screen, she also graced her presence on Television with hostings shows like ‘Guinness World Records – Ab India Todega,’ ‘Up Close & Personal with PZ’ and recently judging the seventh season of Dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye.’

On the front of Personal life, the actress was dating model Marc Robinson but this didn’t work out facing a separation within one year. After which Ness Wadia came in her life with whom she had a relationship of four years.

Working with big stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan on a journey spanning 16 years, this actress has certainly achieved a mark leaving a great impression in Bollywood.
